As the year draws to a close I remember my resolve on November 30, 2012 to make this new year a year of gratefulness. My goal is to write a short entry every night, but we are all aware that life will get in the way. So please come by often and I pray that I can encourage you on your path to live a life of gratitude.
As I type this Will needs a hug. I cannot look at him any other way than through eyes of gratitude. I have never been pregnant, but God has entrusted seven hearts to me. Will is the youngest of those hearts at ten months. My children range from ten months to twenty nine. I have never taken my roll as a mother for granted. With the addition of each child I have desired to a better job. This journey is as much for Will and for his sister, Dixie, as it is for me. I realize that gratitude, contentment, and happiness go hand in hand. I want them to have the happiest childhood ever.
